Well, funny you should give up hope today... Just last night I was informed that some prototype replacement FPGA chips have finally arrived and are being tested.

Wasn't there an RGP posting from them that production would be happening? I was told about it but didn't see it. I'll have to go look!

A small exhibit room with Illinois pinball items will be available for

Friday there will be a 6-player team tournament on the new Kingpin
prototype.

keep that route game earning. Specially attention will be given to
proper maintanence of coin and dollar acceptors.

There will be a side-room available for massages. For a nominal hourly
fee we will gladly relieve stress from your body.

From what I hear Gene's bankruptcy has not killed the prospect of finishing and producing this game. In fact it may have increased the likelihood and increased that prospect of it being a better game in almost every way. There are several promising parties (for better worse remains to be seen) interested in making this happen still. But if it happens, I think it will be a few years in the making.

People that are interested - Don't lose hope yet! It is an interesting time for this crazy hobby. A new era has begun, and I hope it is a fabulous one.
