I have a orignal Odyssey with a Thor MB and a type 1 Pyscho card. I purchased two single games drives and a multigame drive. All drives are suppose to require 076 Bios. I have also purchased a type 2 Psycho card with 076 installed.

I do not get a boot up screen with any combination of Psycho cards or Bios. Has anyone been successful at getting 076 Bios to run on a Thor MB based machine? Is the Type 2 Psycho card compatible with the Thor MB (it's a tight fit)? Drive help anyone?

Benno suggested 062 Bios but that did not work either.
Machine works fine with original 031 bios and drive.

Well I solved my own problem it was the THOR motherbord. Dropped in a new Tucson MB and my multigame drives work great. If you ever want to replace the MB make sure you get the Tucson version with 4 PCI slots.

If you read the Odyssey manual it say's to replace the THOR MB. The only discrepancies I found was that the screw that is not used is in the upper right corner not number 5 as listed in the manual.

Depending on the power supply you have you may need to take off the #3 screw nut pressed on the bottom right of the PS box (if you do not do this it will make contact with the heat sink on the Tucson MB, I used a chisel to snap it off). The original THOR has a pentium 133, a 166 is recommened on the Tucson. Make sure you have 64 megs of ram. The Pentium 166 uses a different pin out on the voltage jumper J5 1-2 vs 3-4. Follow the Tucson board setup in the manual for setting motherboard pins.

I had to disconnect the reset switch to make my system boot. Probably had it connect wrong.
