I replaced monitor and broken touchscreen with a flatscreen lcd and new 3M flat touchscreen. Don't get too excited, it doesn't work yet. The lcd has a great picture and the touchscreen I bought had a novram connector that plugged right into the old controller. The green light flickers when you touch the screen but when I go to calibrate I get nothing on the screen.
If anyone has any ideas, and I mean any, please let me know. I'm up to about 650 dollars trying to bring my Odyssey back to life.
Thanks, Don

When you say you get nothing on the screen, does the screen go blank when you enter calibration, or does the calibration cross appear but you get no response to the touch?

BTW, which flat screen monitor did you buy?

Robert,
There is no cross on the screen when I go to calibrate. I found out that my gpio board was bad and I am waiting for the replacement board to arrive so that I can try it again. The monitor is a Planar PX2710MW I found on Ebay for 250 dollars. The touchscreen sensor is a 3M Model 17-8931-206 with a novram connector that I got from patriotgaming.com for 380 dollars. What do you think?
Don
