Odyssey Manual Solution: Put Machine Back in Service.

Unfortunately, no advice is given as to what is causing the Out of Service Condition so I have no idea where to begin. Any ideas?

Many, many thanks!

Further to the last post, if I put the machine back in service via Configuration, I then get Error 5119 telling me to reboot the machine. Powering down and then up does not help. I could do a Safe Clear. Would that help?

Thanks

I guess "reboot" means a "Full Safe Clear" because that procedure cleared the problem.

Background: Machine was left in the middle of a Jacks or Better game when power was turned off. The 5119 error must have occurred then or when machine was powered ON. Most likely a bad idea to power down in the middle of a game.

Happy New Year!

Good to hear you fixed the problem. Usually if a machine has been working, then gets into a funky state, the only way out is a Full Safe Clear.

I've turned machines off in the middle of a game, and even mid-spin, to see how the machine reacts. Normally, it will resume right where it left off. But as you've experienced, it is possible to corrupt the memory where only a Safe Clear will help.
