A pic of the delivery vehicle that brought the first two playfields to Bloomington...
The first two just unloaded...
Two weeks Try three plus
The tooling playfield mostly done but has been played a couple times...
Some schmo playing a game...
There you have it
Credit where credit is due
This guy has been riveting assemblies like a mad-man
He's starting to talk in ca-chunk, ca-chunk... Even with nightmares of endless riveting , he says it's worth it
The test playfield cozy in Kim's cabinet...

Looks complete except for the arch, drop target decals, and the EL on the left ramp.
Cant wait to play.

Very very exciting!
Did anyone else notice the "This way to bar" sticker to the left of the alien locks? This sticker is not on any of the original prototypes that I've seen (including Rob Morrison's personal machine #1). Is this a PMI enhancement, or was it found in the Capcom documentation as something they were going to add in production?

Just an FYI to everyone, I split this topic from the topic in the General Discussion area as I felt this was a fairly substantial progress update and deserved a topic of its own.
Fantastic pictures and superb update! _________________ Robert

I'd say.. I'm speechless, that is AWESOME!!
I also noticed missing is the capcom logo stickers for the flippers. I hope those will be added just like the drop target stickers.. Can anyone directly involved confirm this? |

Stickers, tube, apron.... OH My...
This is a tooling plfd. I will not waste the little things on a plfd that will be dismantled & reassembled & checked & compared ... All those fancy little things will appear in due time.
Just thought you'd like to see the results of some major work...

okay, I guess I'll be the first to ask...
How well does it play? Smooth as silk, or do good shots get rejected?
How is the new plastic formulation for the drop targets holding up?
