Okay,
Short and sweet, if this is a duplicate post I apologize. I think I lost another one (post).
Gene called on his way back from Chicoga and is bring back a sample
cabinet.
He's is so freaking excited he can't stand it. He took the cabinet to meet his BBB and did measure and match between the 2 games, he was very happy with the results. The most anything was off was 1/16 of an inch.
I'm not sure what, he was trying to talk on the cell phone while he driving thru rush hour traffic.
He is going to recheck the measurement when he gets home and if everything is correct he will give the go ahead to start production tomorrow.
This is so cool
Gene has been at his wits end trying to get the cabinets done. This has been a definite worry for him and my mom.
So keep your fingers crossed and talk to the powers that be (Pinball fairy...whoever) and hopefully it will be good news.
He also is taking a generic cabinet up to the pf assemblers so they can set up a test fixture.
Getting the cables done, as in all of them is the next hurdle.
They have samples done and now they will be tested and then they will assemble the rest.
Ya'll everything is FINALLY starting to fall in to place. I know I'm gushing like an idiot but the cabinets. Now if we don't have anymore set backs with the company this will be a good week.
This isn't as professional as bc post were and I apologize but I'll try and get better, and we have been working with my digital camera so sometime in the near future there may be pictures.
It's getting late and I need to get home.

Gene okayed the cabinets.
He will be on his way to Chicago tomorrow morning.
He's got a list of things he's checking on.
I may have an update tomorrow if he gets back by 5:00, if not it will have to wait. Thursday is my off at 5:00 nite sorry.

Any chance we can get a picture of the test cabinet ? We're all understanding of the fact that it's a test piece, doesn't have decals mounted, or assemblies laid in.

I'm just thinking of bspins, and crazy he must've been driven by the recent lack of available photos to post. C'mon- whaddaya say ?

We are practicing with the camera and we are going to send a test picture tomorrow to make sure this works.
If all goes well we will post pictures.
