With Pictures!!
I (and I'm sure everyone else) would really like to know where we are:
Do we have a completed machine yet?
How many TOPS are done?
How many BOTTOMS are done?
How many CABINETS are COMPLETLY done?
How are those controversial ramps coming?
A good, solid update with pictures would REALLY, REALLY be great!!!
Thanks for taking the time! _________________ Mike

I for one, am not clamoring for an update. I have all the confidence in the world in the team currently assembled. While I enjoy seeing pictures of progress, I can't imagine that any current photo would reveal any earth shattering progress. It is obvious that the project is an easy six months or more from being near completion. But, I would rather have slow and steady than fast and crap.

I gotta agree with Mike- it's been past time for a comprehensive update. "No news is good news" hasn't necessarily been the routine with this project. I'd love to hear any progress made. Of course, I'd love to hear all 10 prototypes are complete and 95% through testing, etc. But I'd settle for news that work is moving forward, and that the people involved are confident of satisfactory manufacturing. I acknowledge that updates to the investors via Robert's site are a minor task, compared with the vast amount of labor and headaches involved thus far. Still, it's important though.
If the news is bad, that's fine too- I'd still like to hear it. Just because there's a delay due to a missing part, or because Kerry had to take 2 weeks off to mourn the death of his iguana, doesn't mean we should be kept in the dark.
I don't require pictures, although they are more emotionally-moving. _________________

Gee, I hadn't heard about Kerry's iguana.
Kerry, my condolences...
I understand how attached one can get to a beautiful iguana, their personalities being so unique, and while I'm sure it's hard to believe right now, you'll deal with it, and be able to get up in the morning and go on with life. And even though it doesn't seem possible at the moment, maybe someday you'll even feel up to getting another iguana.
Good luck, Kerry, and don't worry about taking a few months off to deal with it, no BBB is as important as dealing with such a difficult loss to an animal I'm sure you held so dear. |

I don't think pictures are needed at this point either. Just some word as to where this project is at.
Something like this will do:
Lower playfield assembly underway at sub contractor. Estimating 8-10 playfields per week.
Currently planning subassembly work for volunteers, will start working on volunteer schedule when it’s figured out. Hope to contact volunteers in next few weeks
If any problems were related to the group perhaps there is someone in the group that may have a solution. PMI wouldn't have to listen, but at least it would give us something to talk about.
Sorry Tom, couldn't wait. |

I would like a update on the prototypes, The only thing I have seen is the playfields with the clear insert. These are suppose to be "Brass" games with certain parts brass plated. I have not seen any of these items. Will the protos be made last? Just curious. (because I paid for one)

Got a laugh out of me.
They have weathered the high winds and heavy snow okay. The tornados were not too close to them. |

I can truly, only and firmly agree, an update would be great now, it's enough with some writing's like "we're on track" or "we've run into some minor quality-issues and are working on them"
Please please just a tiny little one would be sooo great! _________________ BBB #79 has arrived here in Stockholm, Sweden! |
