this is assuming that there would be no machining or anything other than assembly. all decals would be done. bottoms would be populated and the proto machines all work correctly.

Wouldn't be much left to do. Populate the top of the playfield and plug it in.

If it mean't the difference between 3 months or 3 years, yeah, I'd take a kit..............

RazerX and I were talking about it last night. we would definetely come down to Bloomington for a weekend and put together games. it would be great to see how many we can do in a weekend. I'm betting on at least absolute minimum 4 a day per person (assembled well and not slapped together).

If we go assembly line with more people it will be even faster.

STERN is putting together 75 games a day including wiring harness playfield mechs and the playfield bottoms.

If you look at their production line there's only like 3 or 4 people assembling the tops.

so 4 weekends with 4 people and we should be done.

I totaly dont see what the hold up is. let us help.

I'd venture to say there'd be no rebate, you'd just have to wait for your machine.

I think if it happens, you should have to work a weekend at PMI. Then you could pull your parts, under a watchfull eye, so if your shorted, it's your problem.

I don't think that the machines are sub-assembled to the point that one could complete 4 in a day. If one can complete 1 + units over a weekend and take their kit/machine home, it should knock off a lot of machines judging by the interest that is showing.
