OK, since the word is out: I believe I was the first to pick up my BBB when it arrived in Europe. It arrived the 29th of June and could pick it up one day later. I was joined by Mark Damave, who was driving, and his help (who was sworn to secrecy). His help took some pictures. There was a rather unique situation: an x number of BBB games in boxes in the same area, which is very unlikely to be ever seen again in Europe.

So how does it look? Only one description fits: eyepopping, jawdropping gorgious.

How does it play: like you may expect from a brand new game: smooth and powerful. Gene's quality control shows in gameplay and how the game looks. Compliments to TOG and his team who put the games together: outstanding job.

I will post a larger review later (it's almost 3 AM right now).

Jonathan

OK, I will send some pics to Robert as I have no clue how to upload pictures uphere. These pics have been taken with a phone camera and reduced in size.

These pics were taken June 29th, when Mark and I picked up our games. There is 2 pics of some European games standing in the customs warehouse, waiting for further transport, a few pics of Mark unpacking his game, and the final pic shows his game set up on legs. Notice the beer coasters around the legs? I suggested to do that in order to avoid MB problems. Obviously the coasters will be replaced by something that looks nicer, but this was an easy solution and you understand we do want to keep our games in the best condition.

Sorry to say these are the most interesting pics I have. I don't have a camera so can't take pics of my game at the moment and did not receive any other photos yet.

Enjoy![/img]

I'm sure I can read #123 on one of those. Oh, you sent it the wrong way guys. Don't worry, just pop it on a plane to Australia, I don't mind an extra couple of days Wink

COOL! Color me green with envy kermit

BUT, I do believe that I see MY game (#14) in the lot.

SEND IT BACK! SEND IT BACK!naka

I just wish Gene had the time and/or inclination to print the boxes with PMI or IPB information on them.
Then even they would be a nice collector's item/keepsake.

There IS light at the end of the tunnel and it's NOT an oncoming train. Very Happy

Wooow !! Nice Photoshop !
Sorry to tell you that it's actually N° 141 as seen in the first pictures and it resides in my gameroom !!
Here below are some more pics of the arrival of the 4 Belgian BBB's ...

Sorry we had to keep it secret, but Kim asked us and if I'm asked to shut up, I shut up (wish my wife would... etc...etc... Wink)

I got a phone call of a shipping co about two weeks ago to make an appointment to deliver the 4 Belgian games, ofcourse I thought someone was pulling my leg, but apparently it was true, about 5 minutes later I got a call to keep this secret.
Anyway, our games were delivered last friday and I had the honour of uncrating 3 of them. YOU*CAN'T*TELL*THEY*ARE*REPRO'S !!! They're perfect !!

Guys,
Here's a sample of what I posted on RGP (the BBQ was good BTW Wink)
Enjoy the new pics !!

You can't tell these games aren't original Capcom, you *just*can't*tell !
Everything is just so perfect, so real, so BBB : the coating on the
wireforms is perfect, the glow in the dark stuff, the blue arrows on the
ramp, the tubedancer etc...
When my BBB got it's first shot of electricity my exact words were -
pointing at the blue arrows - "These d*mn things work !!" Smile

I get asked alot : How does it play ? Well, it play's like a new pinball
machine, fast flippers, mushrooms banging like a Tommy gun, steep ramps
makeable with a backhand shot, you know .. the works !
How does it look ?
Well I added some pictures to the already existing ones on :
http://users.pandora.be/mushroomamusements/BBB/
The new ones start from DSC02283.JPG.
Enjoy the feast ...
To some this may seem like just another pinball game that gets uncrated, to
me it's BBB, it's not a pinball game ! Smile
My friend Luc who also bought one used the fine words : " Aaaargh !! Another
dream coming true ... When will it stop ??!!" Smile
