I have sent Robert a small 16-second movie and a few pictures. The movie is BBB #141 powering up for the very first time (well, at least it's the very first time on 230 volts ). Unfortunately there's no sound, as my camera doesn't have a microphone
The pictures are two high-res pictures of the lower playfield. You can see how shiny and gorgeous they are. On the third pic you see the bottom side of the playfield.
Most of what I see on my game has actually been posted long ago by PMI, so I'm not sure what else I can show you guys. Are there any specific things you'd like to see??
The gameplay is brilliant. I remember some post from "someone" (can't remember who) about very specific details on gameplay. About where the ball ended up if you shot it like this or that. I have changed the coil power from 10 to 8, and that setting alone made a big difference in how the game plays. Is there anything gameplay-wise that you want me to check out?

Sweet! Makes the rest of us tingle.
Question: Did you get the engraved plate too?
Where was it installed (if at all)?

That's just awesome! Who is going to make us some really sweet instruction cards to match the game! Or maybe I missed an earlier post about this, sorry if that's the case. I'd love to buy some prelaminated. _________________ BBB #50 |

Wow! Those pictures are INCREDIBLE! Thanks for sharing this with us. The game is absolutely stunning. There is nothing like a new machine and all I can say is Wow.
Mad props to everyone who worked on the game to get it out. Now to write my "Told Ya Sos" on RGP... Hehe... _________________ Pins and Vids #4 - A New Hoax DVD, Available NOW at www.pinsandvids.com for only $12.00 plus shipping. |

When I unboxed my machine I couldn't believe how 'big' everything was. That is the feeling I sometimes have when I only played a pin via visual pinball and afterwards see the real game. Anyway, the artwork is greath, but you should know that by know when you look at the pictures provided by the other owners. I can now imagine what a giant task it must have been to re-create all these nice, bright and complex playfield parts. The aliens, the powder-coated ramps, the translucent targets, and ofcourse the large blue lighting arrows under the tube dancer ramp. They work greath. Gene and the crew took their time but now I'm glad they did because it really shows. This is not a rush-job and you can see that in every way. |

As everyone knows Gene and Crew deserve so much credit but I would also like to remind everyone that Bob and Steve made some major contributions at the beginning of the project.
I didn't think about it until the blue light up arrows were mentioned, they (B & S) played a very important part in helping to get those and the board reproduced.
While it was unfortunate that they chose to leave in the middle of the project, they do deserve their 5 minutes in the spotlight along with the rest of the Crew.

Kim, that is very gracious of you. I am not sure what all the history was with their departure, but it shows a lot of class to give them their due credit. Thank you to all who have had a hand in making this project a reality.
