If I put glitter paper on my machine I plan to put small thin felt pads on the side of my playfield in a few strategic spots to protect the paper from abrasion. I might actually do that anyways, just to protect the purple interior cabinet paint.

I already put the glitter paper on my game. The store where I got it has several colors available too. I went for silver, but I recall also gold and green. There might be other colors too.

I think I could only find one color when I looked into this last year (or whenever). Having a few options could really make this an attractive mod. I'd like to see how the green looked. Is there any manufacturer, brand name, model number, et cetera on the stuff you bought to help us research our options further? I wish there was a dark purple glitter paper. Maybe this place can do a custom color and/or effect (but it would likely be cost prohibitive): http://www.grafixplastics.com/holografix_g.asp

I think the original stuff used was Avery holographic confetti film: http://www.signage.averygraphics.com/pls/avery/avery_ext_products.series_detail?p_site_name=SIGNAGE&p_product_series_id=1031

Scot Bogart (pinrestore.com) sells thin felt strips (3/4 or 1 inch wide) that can be applied to the sides of the playfield (look under the Supplies section).
