You haven't cleaned the playfield in a while and there's dirt on the black post rubbers? _________________ Robert

Are the middle drop targets mis-registering or lighting or un-lighting the wrong planet inserts? |

I thought you were right on with this BBB94, but if it is in attract mode you could see the planet inserts lighting even w/ the drops down. Along those same lines, since Dave's Ball Busters have 2 balls on each side there should be two "drink" inserts lit on the right side, but this wouldn't be true during attract mode.
To me, the tube lady targets look a little yellow (but that may be an artifact of the camera).
Good quiz question!

D*mn !!
I thought you guys were smarter !!
I've changed the ramp switches, in order to protect the original switches which are NLA, I went ahead and changed them with yellow ones. These switches are known to break so I'd rather keep my original in good shape. _________________ Bye

Hey mush...
I *did* say that the tube lady targets (ramp switches) looked yellow, but I wasn't sure if it was a color gamut problem with your camera...
So what do I win????

You win eternal fame !!
So, what does everybody think ? Agreed, they don't look as good as the original, but what are you going to do if one of them breaks ? _________________ Bye

I don't understand the logic here. Sure the original targets won't break if you take them off the game, but why replace them with something that isn't identical? I understand they are NLA, then again, so is the *entire* game!
If they break, *then* replace them with something else. That's what *I* would do. _________________ Robert

Hmm,
My logic is : whenever I want to, I can make the game original, if one of my original switches is broken, I'm out of luck. _________________ Bye

I agree....wait until they break, and then when you HAVE to replace them, THEN you throw these things on. Besides...you may get lucky, and the original targets could lat for the life of the machine.
What's the point of putting them in a display case? Might as well use the suckers...

I think the green targets look *much* better, in that they match the green tube.
How have others seen these types of targets break? Mine have broken at the black plastic housing, which allowed me to preserve the original colored target through some simple microsurgery on a new (wrong color) switch.

They *might* last a lifetime, keyword here is might. These switches were used on various Sega games, and while they look the works, they tend to break. I'd rather keep my green ones and replace the new yellow ones as needed.
Each to his own !
The four Belgian BBB owners each ordered yellow switches, one of them even ordered red ones, he's reading this board and if I were him I'd try on the red ones and make a picture for comparison. _________________ Bye
