For the first time ever a BBB was part of a tournament in Europe the past weekend. The Dutch Pinball Open was organised at Silverstone / Pinball Magic Museum in Holland, where Mark Damave's BBB (#88 ) is set up in a special area perminently. The game is placed in a sort of cage construction with wooden wall and a mirror on the left side and glass on the right. Due to that constructions the flippers sound extremely loud, which was basically the only complaint about the game I heard during the weekend. Many people knew I also have one and they congratulated me with such a beautiful game. As far as I know the game was constantly in use and held up very good. Visitors of the tournament got 1 free game with their entrence fee, but plenty bought extra tokens to play it more.
Photos of the tournament can be found at pinside dot com. |
