You can count me in the pre-order for sure. I love Kingpin. I'd be willing to wait another couple years too. Laughing

If you guys come around to launching that King Pin project, I'm in big time!

After seeing the dedication, quality, etc on BBB, I would gladly prepay and wait for it.

Another useful thing is that IPB would have new boards produced that we could use in other Capcom stuff. Since I already own Pinball Magic and Airborne, I could get some spare parts.

Gene, Kim and IPB, you have my support on this one!!!!!!!!

I've got pics of Gene holding the proto-Kingpin whitewood, and a bunch of other BBB factory pics. I can upload them to a FTP if someone has access (unless you want 50+ mb's of pics clogging your inbox).

I also mentioned the words "Pinball Circus" to Gene at the factory. He didn't punch me in the face, so....I guess I don't know what that means.

I'm in for Kingpin...although I think BBB is a much better game. Maybe if I played a "real" KP and not the VP version I may feel differently. Regardless, it'd be cool if they went after that project, too.

How about producing Wizard Block in a kit form?

I would love to see a finished Wizard Blocks and a Pinball Circus come about but these are Williams games. Gene would have to get a new contract with Williams for this. Not saying it isn't possible, but it would take a LOT of money and I think Wayne has exclusive rights to produce games under the Bally name. So, I'll dream with ya, but one thing at a time. Gene will have enough challenges finishing BBB and starting KP.

According to comments by Pat Lawlor Wizard Blocks was far from finished. I believe Pat said that it would take about one million dollars to bring the game from the point they abandonded it to production.

Well if they run the boards then at least there should be replacements for BBB available.

A Wizard Blocks kit would be cool. I played a game of Wizard Blocks, but it was quick and I don't remember much. Of course I'd need a nice Pinball 2000 machine first. If they did a Wizard Blocks kit I wonder if they would run whatever board(s) are hard to get for those (Prism, daughter, whatever)?

Pinball Circus would be cool too.

It could be an interesting 3-5 years.

I would guess that if more Capcom boards are run there may very well be more BBBs produced in the near future as well. Shocked Shocked

That will drive down the collectors price a little...........

Me either but if the 'ol bill collector were to show up at the door, selling it for 10K instead of 4K would be nice..............

I'm pretty sure it would be the last one I'd sell if I had to and I've got a lot of other machines that would go first!

While visiting Gene and TOG, Gene told me that I could let you guys know that IF he does do Kingpin, that the company doing the lower playfield assembly would offer us, the BBB buyers, a $500 discount on Kingpin. We would get the first option to buy with the same number as our BBB. The price will be higher than BBB IF Gene does do them. It was my belief that he's pretty sure that he will do it, but there are other things he has to deal with before committing. Keep this post on this forum, it's not for general distribution.
