It's been a loooong time since we've had one and February is getting close (Gene's Estimate).............
So, does anyone "in the know" still read this forum?
Are we going to make a February delivery??
Inquiring minds want to know.............

I don't know if February was Gene's estimate. I think that was someone elses (based on what they saw progress-wise between the two tours they had taken).
Of course, I could be wrong.
I'd guess...April. But that's just a total stab in the dark. |

I got the February estimate from Gene himself when I was at the parts show over Expo and was taking the tour.
That's the reason we need an update. I don't think I can wait another year................ 
We need to light a fire under their toes so they stay on this project! I'm afraid if we don't stay on them, they'll get sidetracked with other projects.......

I seriously doubt that, given all that has happened. I hope there's a little sidetraking actually, in the Kingpin direction. I have every confidence that the BBBs will be delivered soon, and that they will not be taking their foot off the accelerator until it is done.

My Opinion, Based on what I saw when I was there, was that:
1) There was at least 10 people working on the games every day.
2) The production company building the playfields was close to finishing.
3) There were about 30 cabinets in the back room to have parts added to them, but there are 10-15 more cabinets than games.
My guess is that we'll see a 1st quarter release. I'm planning to finish my BBB video around then (so it happens right after the games).
Also, My Birthday is February 24 so I want the game for my Birthday

Well, since most of us did not receive our BBB by Christmas 2006 as previously said prior to Christmas 2005, the next best thing would be some type of update. Heck...I would be happy for an update on Kingpin...if there is anything going on with that.
Does that sound reasonable?

It was Kerry that made that comment, and he was there to get the bugs out, and he finished that. I don't think his Christmas promise was PMI gospel, it was just his opinion based on having solved the issues and his inside knowledge at the time. If the machines actually make it by February I think that's close enough.
Frankly, I think the silence is intentional - the next thing we hear will be delivery/collection advices, and those within a handful of weeks.

I have nothing documented to follow up with. When I did the interview with Gene, I had already decided that I was going to do an all BBB documentary that would ship right after the games. Things like shipping seemed like they would be wasted so I didn't go down that path.
