It would be great to hear anything at all, actually. Not the sort of program management that I enjoy.
But, some games have shipped out already to our European brothers, and they seem reasonably impressed, so I'm not sweatin' it. I'm going to make an optimistic estimate (based on almost zero information) and state that all games will ship by 30 July.
Have faith. |

I met Gene and Georgianna for the first time at Allentown this year. They were both very nice and eager to talk about the project. I think we chatted for ten minutes about it all. Then, they both signed my BBB translite (to add to the Capcom team already on it), posed for a pic, showed me the "pigs are about to fly" figure they had hanging at the booth.........and then......the table got swamped with people.
But, it was great to finally meet them both.
The only status I got was, "It is almost time!"
So.........that's about all I can report. But, the optimism was HUGE!!
I'll post a couple pics below.
Thanks!
Chris Bucci

Thanks Chris, the "Pigs are almost ready to fly" sign is as positive as I'd hoped for!
Cheers,

Thanks for the "report". Love the last photo of the Flying Pig....with the sign that "Pigs are ALMOST ready to Fly".... that is a classic.

I think it would be more fitting if you posted it *after* everyone has their games (assuming permission from Chris of course). _________________ Robert

Not to change the topic too much, but I recall we were talking about the trophy idea for Gene as appreciation, I think the flying pig as a trophy piece would be simply a great idea!!

Call me a pessimist (or other worse names) if you like, but I say we wait on all this trophy business until the games are in people's hands and we have some idea of the quality. Now, I'm not doubtful that what we get will be high quality, but if this drags out another year I can say for sure I won't be kicking in any dough for a trophy, no matter how nice the machine itself is.
I like to think it won't take that long, but well, I felt that way a year ago, too.

I curious to if you've read the other threads... We're in the weeks mode as far as I can tell. I know it sounds like stalling, but the details as to what was missing from a small quantity of games wasn't hearsay, it was detailed.
This will not be another year. I'm thinking it won't be another month... But I don't know for sure. Again, keep this on the forum. Pigs ARE flying soon! _________________ Pins and Vids #4 - A New Hoax DVD, Available NOW at www.pinsandvids.com for only $12.00 plus shipping. |

I've read the other threads. But you just never know what might happen. Until my machine is in my hands, I have little confidence in seeing it "soon." I hate to sound so negative...I'm still quite patient as I honestly sent my money on the *hope* that I'd get it, but with the reality that I might not. But in that vein, and given how long it has been, I'm just not going to even consider any "award" for anyone until I actually get it.
