I just got off the phone with Gene:
June 2nd is Pick-Up Day!
Gene seemed real confident that this would be the date. He also "of course" gave me permission to tell everyone which was a lot different than previous conversations.
Same outstanding issues: Arrow delivery, Aliens Delivery, and plating for "Gold"(Brass) editions, but Gene feels that these will be behind them.
I really hope it's true!

WOW! That is indeed GREAT news! Folks, we are almost at there, less than 3 weeks to go. I am soooo pumped. Thanks for the update, Keep the faith!  Pigs really are ALMOST ready to fly.

Arrow delivery - don't care.

10 machines not ready - don't care.
Waaaaaay past time for these machines to be delivered. Lord help us if the warehouse burned down, or illness in the family. Just get the ones ready out. Even if I'm one of the 10 that waits longer. Don't care. Just get them out.
But, I do appreciate the efforts by PMI, we're so close.

I don't know when the shipping happens. When I interviewed Gene in 2005 he said that he would ship stuff prior, like the Thursday/Friday before. When I find out more, I'll report it. This question has been raised to me by others.

I just read and reread again and again your post. I just got more and more excited each time I read it through. I am so looking forward to pick up day. Not sure that I have enough words to tell you how much I appreciate your tireless effort and perseverance. I have seen the finished games on a couple of occasions, and I think the games are simply stunning. Everybody involved with the project is to be commended for a job well done. There are many who put their blood sweat and tears into this project, including yourself, Gene, Georgianna, Kim, Kerry and sure many many others who we have not even heard about. Thanks for everything, hope to see you on pick up day.

Don't blame me!!! I WILL be there early for the HARD WORK! You'll see! You'll all see!!!
Actually, I called Gene on his way to Allentown about another issue and Georgianna was heard in the background with "It is NOT May 12th!!!", Gene said call back on Tuesday. I did. Gene said, "Still waiting on parts, Call back on Monday (last Monday)", I did. Conversation was as follows:
"Hey Gene, it's Al Warner!!!"
"Al Warner!!! - June 2nd"
"You told me to call you today"
"It's June 2nd"
"Really? - Awesome! - Can I tell the forum?"
"I don't care who you tell! We feel that we'll have everything we need to complete the remaining games..."
So, I'm sorry, but I was told...
Anyway, who will they believe more? I'm really glad to see your post!!! Thanks!

You know, I was worried that the pick-up day might be June 2. I'll be up in Northern WI fishing that weekend. I really wanted to be down there and meet the BBB gang and put faces to the names.
