The following pictures were just sent to me by Kim. Looks fantastic to me!
I'll defer any further comments to her but it looks like multiple backboxes have been completed as well.

Funny thing is, Bryan was in the forum when I posted these pics and was still logged in for at least a few minutes afterwards. He must have logged out without refreshing. _________________ Robert

Mmmmmmmm niiiiiice
Another noob question: wouldn't it be better to apply the decals after the game has been completely assembled? Now they have to be quite careful to not damage the artwork while doing the assembly? Or is this normal procedure?
(damn I just have to say it again: niiiiiiiiiiiice ) |

Normal assembly procedure. Things like the flipper buttons, coin door, side rails, etc., all sit on top of the decaled surface of the cabinet. You can't install the decals with those items in place.
In addition, a cabinet (or back box) that has all the "innards" installed weighs quite a bit more than it does when empty, which makes it harder to move around and position when decaling, and increases the chance of damage.

Kim, it's time to sit down and . . .
wipe that smile off your face
Seriously, it looks fantastic! Everyone at PMI should be very pleased.
I can't wait to see a cabinet decked out with side rails, coin door, flipper buttons, etc.

I couldn't control myself, Robert. There was no wood this time.....this time we had LUMBER!!!!! Then I went and had a cigarette.
Seriously, very exciting news....and they look quite nice. Hopefully, more of the BBB workforce gets put to work now and these things will get done by Christmas. _________________ Bryan Kelly Former BBB #123 |

I'm hoping by Expo. With the price of gas I really don't want to have to make two trips to Illinois.
