Will Improved new games affect the value of original prototype? |
No, The Protos are what they are and will still hold their value. |

A little, The Protos won't see $25K anymore, but $20K would still happen |

Equal, Original Protos will be about the same as new games because a BBB is a BBB |

Less, New games are so much better than the protos that they will be below the value of a new game. |

Before I start this poll - I mean nothing personal to people who own original prototype games. Just opinion spoken here.
While making the video I've seen all of the "improvements" that are in the new games that are not part of the originals. Some are minor, others will really affect gameplay and servicability. So my question is, will the value of originals see a decline due to this new game being technically superior?
Admittedly, an original prototype will still be a prototype, but will it still command $20K-$25K? _________________ Pins and Vids #4 - A New Hoax DVD, Available NOW at www.pinsandvids.com for only $12.00 plus shipping. |

I think the originals will still command a healthy premium, because they are very rare and are part of pinball history. But I think they may not be quite as pricey as people that don't care about the history of the original protos can now opt for a PMI BBB if they just really want a BBB, therefore reducing demand. I guess it really comes down to whether the number of people that really want (and can afford) an original BBB exceeds the number of machines that exsist, combined with the supply side of how many people have one that are willing to part with it at any price. |
