|
|
Be careful when removing the translight from the backbox.
Mine was in so tight that I scratched the inside edges of
the backbox when the glass came out. The channels on the
side of the glass made a scratch/streak on both sides as I
pulled it out :-(
I went into the backbox to install the head bolts.
After I got the translight out, I found that there were
no head bolts in the parts box.
Did anyone get head bolts in their parts box ? |

I was so excited I didn't think about the backbox bolts! I didn't get any either. |

No headbolts here either...
And, FWIW - I think you should put them in! The clamp on the back of my backbox was not very tight, a good jolt, and
Fortunately I had an odd one laying around... |

I'll be setting up my machine today, thanks for notice to go find head bolts.
I noticed Gene's BBB has some sideart decal wrinkling where the leg was bolted on. I'm gonna use felt cabinet protectors and hopefully avoid the decal crinkle - so famous on Monster Bash machines.

I have primarily late model Williams/Bally pins, TAF and later, I think TAF is the one that came with the large wing headed bolt (don't know what to call it!), but I'm fairly sure that it would go in all my pins. Can't tell you the bolt size/threads, sorry.
Another minor FYI - If it doesn't seem to work, try the other side. The right side on the BBB receptacle was stripped, at first I thought it was incorrect threads or size. But it felt so close, I tried the other side, went right in. |

Manual calls for a 3/8 - 16 x 2.5" wing nut |

I noticed the same thing on the right side... had a spare wingnut and put in the left side just fine. One'll do.
Truly amazing to fire this baby up. Our first Capcom game. Nice!
