Topic title says it all: now that you have your game, was it worth the wait?

My reply (even though I have my game for almost a year now): Absolutely!

Yes! It's been an interesting ride and well worth it. I now have the best looking pinball machine ever manufactured in my house.

Caveat: I've seen some neat one-off customs, but none that could beat BBB in my mind yet.

Absolutely worth it and all the "Extra" money I've spent documenting it. I now have two super unique games in my collection (the other is Varkon).

It is a fun game to play and stunning to look at. What more can you ask?

I don't even *have* my game yet and it's already worth it!

So Kim, when can we buy extra playfields/parts/orange rings/etc?

Gene had orange & blue rings and horseshoe rings in both colors at PMI. They were taking orders and said they should be ready in about 3 weeks.

Oh, and not just yes, but HELL YES it was worth the wait!!!!!!!!!

Here is a picture of the orange and blue rings and horseshoes. The blue was pretty subdued under normal light, but really lit up and looked great under black light. I was told that 6 ot 7 rings per tube was the right number. I ended up getting 6 orange and 6 blue.

I ended up going with the rings, but the horseshoes would have the advantage of slipping on and off while the tube is still in the game.

HELL YES!!

The best decision I've ever made in pinball collecting period.

It's a great success story on so many levels. Congrats to all involved, and to all new happy owners.

Hell Yes!!!!!

By the way, I checked the date of my original check to Gene ... it was 5/31/05. A little over two years really doesn't seem so bad for a project of this magnitude.

Absolutely the best thing I ever did. I would do it all over again, and hope to with Kingpin.

PMI ROCKS my world.

Without a doubt it was well worth the wait.
I came very close to missing the deadline when it first offered. I had stopped reading RGP for almost a year due to all the noise and negativity.

It was only by chance that a friend mentioned it to me and I made a call to Georgianna who told me I still had time. I hung up and immediately got the bank check in the mail within the hour!!!

It is the jewel in my collection of just over a dozen pins. It is the first thing you see when you enter the gameroom.
