Kati has been diagnosed with Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma CD -5 positive
Later today she will be going to have a pet scan done to find out if and how far the cancer has spread.
This is a fast growing cancer but they say that is good because initially it will repsond better to the chemo.
They are going to start her on Chemo and possibly radiation once we get the pet scan results.
Looking at her it's hard to believe she could have anything wrong with her and of course she still has that cocky little attitude of hers 
thanks for all of your prayers and good thoughts
(maybe that's why she feels so good!!)

Kati is back at work today

Thanks to everyone for the prayers ya'll can't imagine the difference it is making!!! She looks great, feels great, and has a kick a** attitude.

Gee.... I wonder where she gets that from ?  ?
Glad to hear she is feeling so good. I know Kati is a fighter and we will all continue with the positive thoughts and prayers. Thanks for keeping us posted.

Kati called the dr. office for her scan results, of course the doctor is on vaction .... but the nurse said that the scan showed that the cancer is confined to Kati's neck area. This is AWESOME!!!!!!
We have an appointment on Monday to see the dr., at the very least she will need 3 months of chemo and possibly radiation (sp)
The amazing thing to me is that with as aggressive as this type of lymphoma is that it hasn't spread into other areas.
I truly believe that all of the prayers are making a HUGE difference.

That truly is *AWESOME*, Kim!!
We're all *VERY* happy for her and all of you. Chemo will be a real drain on her physical self, but knowing what we know about her, it won't have an impact on her attitude and desire to live.
Please continue to keep us up-to-date on her status,

Kim,
I had a request tonight to check on Kati. One of the groups (So. Iowa) who have been praying for her would like to know how she is doing. Hope she is doing well... let us know.
