I had to completely rebuild the forum due to an attack on my site. Hopefully all is well now. _________________ Robert

Yeah, I've been avoiding the forum lately, because everytime I tried getting in I'd get spam pop-ups and other assorted craziness. Seems fine now. |

Okay, just went to the Kingpin Forum and I'm still getting the spam pop-ups there. I think it must still be infected.
I don't know if you have the time or inclination Robert, but I assume that there were a number of security enhancements between phpBB 2.0.23 and 3.0.5. |

I haven't rebuilt the Kingpin forum yet so there might still be some issues over there.
I've had LOTS of problems trying to migrate to phpBB 3.0.5 so at the moment, it's staying at 2.0.23. The previous security breach was site related, not php related, so I'm not overly in a rush for a migration. _________________ Robert

Sorry to hear that both migration and security have been problems. I think perhaps BBB got re-infected as tonight I got spam pop-ups at Kingpin and then here. Not sure if logging in at Kingpin first opens any security issues on the BBB side. |
