Great News Kim,
Keep up the good work, maybe you will have yours to play for Christmas and test, then start on the others with any adjustments in January?
Sounds Good

Well yesterday Bryan and I put most of Gene's BBB back together.
Playfield bottoms are about to start in earnest. We have to get through the prototype stage completely. In the next week or three we should have 1-3 prototypes built and we can see what things look like. I don't want to start production until all the issues are resolved. Gene is committed to making them all as close to perfect as possible so be patient while we sort through any problems / bugs in our production process. They will come together as fast as we can make them correctly. Short cuts = bad. We will continue to move forward !! _________________ Kerry Stair

That sounds truly great Kerry, will look forward to seeing pictures of the first prototypes fully assembled!
Would be great to get to hear here about the problems that you run into, some insights in the building process that is _________________ BBB #79 has arrived here in Stockholm, Sweden! |

I was at IPB to pick up some parts I bought from 'the other guy'.
Yes - two guys had the original almost back together.
Another guy was building sub-assemblies
Yet another guy was working on the playfield test fixture.
Kim's machine does talk but better yet, it goes into diagnostic mode through the coin door - just like it's supposed to! All the boards and harnesses were connected and it worked great! No playfield yet so lots of errors . . .
I have one picture of that but I'm not sure how to post a picture.
I am also sticking with Kim's vague references to the assemblers' names.
Things seemed to be moving along great and obviously a lot of work going on.
Oh yeah, Kim - please thank Gene for the sandwich for me again! |

Not quite sure about another man , nameless lass , mystery date or any others involved in the bbb production... but THANK YOU. Wish I could be there to lend a hand as well. Your efforts are appreciated by all I am certain.
