"Latecomer" must be te luckiest person alive !
I still don't understand Bryan, why you sacrificed BBB while you got so many games you can "easily" obtain afterwards and which would bring in more than $7500.

Maybe BBB resale is like California Real Estate.
I'm a Real Estate Broker here in California. The asking price dosen't really matter, it's only a starting point. I've seen multiple offers drive the "asking" price WAY UP! The highest about 25% over.
Hopefully this is the case with BBB in the open market.

Maybe a little explanation is in order, then again, maybe not, but you're gonna get it anyway.
First off, no one said the game sold for $7500.....which simply happened to be what I was asking. I may have given in and sold for less, then again, I may have had so many offers that latecomer had to pay me a premium. The actual price is only known by latecomer and myself.
Secondly, yes, I have other pins that could be replaced. However, most of my pins have been totally restored by myself with somewhere in the neighborhood of 120 hours involved in each. With my blood, sweat and tears put into these things, they're not easy to let go. And the 8 I have, I consider keepers.
Thirdly, the BBB sale was the simplest way to raise the money I needed in a short period of time. It also involved no shipping of machines. As it turned out, latecomer couldn't have made the sale any easier. I had concerns but it turned out to be a piece o' cake.
And finally, and most importantly, I'm happy with the sale and latecomer even more so.....at least, that's what he told me.
I have already had regrets about the sale but at the present time, family finances have to come first. _________________ Bryan Kelly Former BBB #123 |

Hey Bryan.
No explination necessary. You did what you had to do.
When I first invested in BBB, my life was pretty good and stable. I knew it was something I could easiliy do (stealing from my savings account, of course)! Since then, I've lost my job and now my family troubles are starting to creep in. So it's possible I might need to "find a buyer" for mine as well since things are getting pretty crazy over here too. ;(
So we all understand. Best wishes. _________________ #34 |
