How do you feel about Bearcave (Bob & Steve) leaving PMI & the BBB project ? |
It's a sad, sad loss that will be difficult for PMI to overcome. Delays the game until 2006 probably... |

Tough luck, but people move on. Gene'll find someone just as good to take their place soon. |

They probably screwed up and got what they deserved! The BBB project's better for it. |

The loss of Bearcave from the project affects not only which web address you log into for news and photo updates, but also the actual labor effort of troubleshooting and assembly.
So now that we've had about a week to reflect on this new development, how do you feel about Bob & Steve leaving their affiliation with IPB/PMI, and closing shop ? _________________

I would have liked to mix my vote:
"Tough luck, but people move on. Delays the game until 2006 probably..."
Everybody can be replaced, but taking over someone else's work probably takes a good few weeks extra. I think this Christmas was a realistic delivery date, but now I'm pretty sure we won't see the first non-prototypes until 2006
I'm not saying it cannot be done quicker, but I would be very pleasantly surprised if I can play my machine this Christmas.
