If the tops all had to be re-cleared then how was that done if the bottoms were populated? was it just masked off? Or are we still waiting for the bottoms to be populated?

just wondering.

someone else mentioned this to me and it's not that bad of a question.

Craig, why don't you call Kim at IPB and ask her? I think you'll have a much better chance of a response than posting here; from all indications it doesn't appear that anyone "in the know" is spending any significant amount of time on the forum.

The clearcoat seemed to be scratching way too easily. So we put playfield assembly on hold and went to the manufacturer of the playfield clear. You can imagine this takes some time.

The above was snipped from Kerry's post about re-clearing the playfields. I took from this post that the assembly of the bottoms was put on hold until the clear issue was resolved. Hopefuly the bottom assembly has resumed at this point???

Clearcoat, takes weeks to cure.

We have been testing several clearcoats in our facility, and after a week the playfield dimples real easy

i guess that's why it takes so long to assemble then. if the top and bottom have to be done. just the tops and assembly shouldnt take long at all
