|
|
To all the lucky new owners of their wonderful BBB machine, please, as hard as it must be to stop playing it, take your hands off the flippers and put them on your camera.
I've been dying to see more pictures since the news broke, and really more video of the thing actually playing. I am a bit surprised more hasn't popped up yet..
Since the rest of us aren't sure when we'll get to play our own, we've got to enjoy it through you guys, so I hope to see more juicy stuff soon for everyone to salivate at.
Thanks-
Steve |

Well, you asked for it ...
I had to remove the other pictures as my disk quota was exceeded, so here are the new ones ...
Sometimes I wonder if I'm the only guy with a digital camera here on the forum !
Anyway, here they are, turn of the automatic resizing of your browser cause these are huge ...http://users.pandora.be/mushroomamusements/BBB/ _________________ Bye

I've browsed RGP and used Google and it comes up with nothing in regards to the little PCB-card, so definitly it's the question of the day???
'What's that little extra PCB-card' for ???'
...and will all games be shipped with this "Speaker Serial Board" seperatly? _________________ BBB #79 has arrived here in Stockholm, Sweden! |

All the games had the little board, what's it for I don't know.
I guess it's to wire some extra speakers to the game ? _________________ Bye

As my digital camera broke, I can't take pics myself. I'm sending Robert a picture of me standing next to my BBB, as how to upload pics on this forum is hard to understand.

The extra PCB board indeed seems to be used to allow external speakers to be connected to your game. see page 75 of the manual.[/img] |

Robert,
If you took copies of the previous files, feel free to put them online, you may use the new files as well. Makes me able to free up some diskspace. _________________ Bye

I'm curious, did you order an extra dancer doll, or will they all come with a green and skin colored one?

Two problems:
1) I don't think there's anything to show which hasn't been shown already. You've seen the side art, the back, the manual, the playfield, the tube dancer, the aliens, the underside of the playfield, the boards,... What more do you want to see???
2) I can take videoclips (with my new camera, and this time it's with sound ), but these files are so big that it's almost impossible to send them via e-mail. Either the quality is bad, or the file becomes too large. I will experiment a bit and see if I can get a good result which is still small enough to send. Does anybody know an easy way to share *big* files (about 50 Mb)?? I would take off the glass, and put the camera in the middle, at the height of my chest, and then play for a minute or so. That should give a nice movie clip...

BBJ, I have Web space available that could host your large videos. I would set up an FTP account so you could transfer the files there yourself. Another possibility would be to set up a BitTorrent torrent.

I have lots of space and bandwidth available on my site if you'd like to host them here. FTP is also available for upload. _________________ Robert

Perfect! Just let me know when, where and how I can send the files, and I will shoot some high quality video's for you.
(high quality = 640x480, 30 fps, Quicktime format, with sound from a tiny built-in microphone)
edit: I converted my file(s) to Divx format because the files are a *lot* smaller...
