I'm curious if there are any audio experts out there that knows how you might go about hooking up your computer's audio (ie, pinmame) to a real pinball machine's speakers?

I don't mean physically making the wires, but rather, how to deal with amplification, ohms requirements, and all that 'tech' stuff that I don't have any real education in..

For starters I assume that:

1) The line-out of any sound card is unamplified - thus would need some amplification to play through a pinball cabinet speaker. How do you determine this, and how do you determine how much and how to get it?

2) If you wanted to try and borrow the machine's own amplification (if possible ), what specs do you need to worry about so that no damage is possible?

3) Any links to learn more about this kind of thing?

Thanks

-Steve
