Here is an update from my last weeks (mid January) visit at IPB BBB warehouse:
I have pictures but it looks like just a big bunch of BBB in a room. The pictures LOOK basically like the same pictures I posted before (just different game numbers).
In the BBB warehouse I saw machines being tested and then ready to be boxed up. I met Fred's (The other guy) brother, he was testing machines. I counted over 50 BBB done and ready to be boxed up.
In the other room I saw a bunch of cabinets waiting for playfield installation. The cabinets were done (all board sets, brackets, coin door, etc) and were just waiting for a playfield. All the playfields are assembled and are lined up waiting to be installed.
I was told that it's costing Gene over $3000 over our $4500 price to make each BBB. ($7500). Wow!
They are working 7-days a week.
ETA? Well maybe the end of Feb. Just a guess based on what I saw.

Based on what I saw when I was there in November and accounting for holidays and such, with this new update, February sounds about right. Thanks for the post! Really good to know! Now to figure out how to finish the video before March!

I saw # 103 back in Nov and it was in the testing stage. It should now be boxed up and ready to be shipped when all the BBB are done.

That begs the question, do you have any idea what numbers you were looking at? Did any of them have numbers you could see?
Just curious if he is building them in any relative order...
Note: My November interview has the quote "We're well over half way finished", which I took to mean 100+ finished of the 18X machines he was making. Nobody committed to a date, but February/March was assumed to be "reasonable" without anything weird happening (like missing or improperly made parts, etc.). This is just my opinion and what I *thought* I heard.

When i asked Gene about it (I was there for the Pinball Expo stuff), he said that he was building them based on when he received payment. That's why the numbers are so haphazard....(you'd see #67, #2, #100-something, and so on).
I must have just missed seeing my machine if Brian saw it in November-ish. (Hey, you wouldn't happen to have a pic of it, would you? Not that it's critical, or anything...just be cool to see, I guess).

BTW did anyone get a picture of mine during their tour, #131 ???
