Just thought it would be fun to see who is going to be picking up their game in person... and who is making the longest Trek? Looking forward to meeting many of the fine folks who I feel I have gotten to know over the past couple of years.

My drive is a mere 2.5 hrs., 180 miles door-to-door. Easily there and back the same day, with plenty of time to talk pinball while I am there. Surely there are others who will be driving 1000+ miles.... 2000+ miles? Whadya say Latecomer? Can you catch a Ferry and still make it in time?

Hope to see you soon. Very Happy

Bob S

Hmmm, thinking, thinking..... I'm on holidays for the next few weeks (go back about the time my machine will be ready to collect)...... extend holidays a week or so.... nearly summer over there, gotta be nicer than rainy Victoria.....

Add several thousand to the cost of acquiring machine... explain to wife why I'm off to the US of A......

Hmmmmm, I think I'll send you a video of me unpacking it instead.

1,080 miles from Nebraska. Looks like gas costs alone at $3.20 per gallon is going to be right at $250.00. Add a motel room to that and you're looking at over $300.00 and a couple of wasted days.............

I'm really starting to think hard about having mine shipped! Shocked

Don't forget sales tax!
That should make your decision real easy.

I am also about 2.5 hours away in beautiful, flat, Lebanon, Indiana. According to TOG's measurements, that BBB box will fit like a glove in my Subaru Forester.

11 or 12 hours for me (700 miles or so). The gas money is a concern for me, but I really want the video and a friend has quite a few free nights for hotels available so that's a freebie...

I've put money aside for it and talked the Wife into loaning me her mini-van.

It'll be worth it to me.

Good luck! I've moved a few pins in my Forrester, and while they fit, I'd be surprised if one boxed would go in too easily. Then again, I did get a Black Hole into it once.... Be keen to know how you go though, means I can pick mine up that way too one day.

I'll try and get a date, but TOG's info should hold up for the rest:

Rob: You should mention how important that BBB is to you and your collection and that this is a replacement game. I'll see you there my friend!

Rob is a really great guy that if you get the chance to meet him, you should.

Shipping details...we need Shipping details!

For those of us who can't pick up our games, a few questions;

What Company has Gene finalized on?
What is the cost?
Are they being shipped on 6/2/07 also?
What's the ETA to Northern Calif.

We work and have heavy schedules over here too. We need to make plans on receiving the BBB. I don't want it delivered to my porch w/o me being there.

Thanks for your input.

Kerry,

The shipping information post from TOG states that ABF is the shipping company. They have a web site that has a transit time calculator.

www.abfs.com

Hope that helps.
