I'm going to have to perform some work and have not yet lifted the PF with balls installed in the trough. Is there a software setting to eject balls? _________________ BBB #131 |

Auto-eject--not that I'm aware of, but I use a simple telescoping magnet for snagging balls from the trays.
Good tool to have. |

Yep, look in diagnostics "C" for an empty balls function - I think it's C2/1 or C1/2.

Or, you can just lift the playfield and catch them as they come out. They WILL all come out. Not hard to do. _________________ Pins and Vids #4 - A New Hoax DVD, Available NOW at www.pinsandvids.com for only $12.00 plus shipping. |

Diagnostics, Feature test: C2-01: Clear out balls.
I just wedge a rag in the shooter lane though - never had a problem. |

Martin and I are working on making a ball holder like the one we make for Williams system 11 through WPC games. You will be able to tilt the playfield up without removing the balls. I'll be taking apart my PM at the apron area to template this.

Excellent. I'd order this with a hole protector, among others.
BTW, something I've been meaning to ask you: are you interested in making the STTNG modded outlane guides? The original Dutch manufacturer isn't doing them anymore. I can send you old outlane guides for templates if you need.

re: STTNG. just take the metal tube at the end of the right ball guide and slide over a mini post rubber. This will give you just enough bounce so you can nudge effectively but will still let the game punch you straight in the potatoes.
If sttng was easy it wouldnt be fun.

I just stuff a rag in the center drain and also the ball eject area and that works fine for me. _________________ BBB#12 |

Was that Aeneas Verhe making those? Yeah if he doesn't want to do them anymore, sure. We would be happy to pick them up, Rob. In fact Martin just aquired an STNG so he would probably be very interested in doing them. email or pm me for my address. _________________ Cliffy
