When my ball locks behind the post in the left wireform ramp and then releases, often it is pushed up and over the end of the wireform and ends up draining behind the flippers. It's almmost like the post comes back up a little too soon.

also, the top lamp under the left sling doesn't light with the other one under the same sling which that one does light with the two under the right sling, the one that doesn't stay lit with the others does flash, quite brightly too, but not sure if this is correct to be happening this way.

Anyone else with these issues and possible solutions?

FYI, the bacll lock issue has already been covered in the forum. My game had the same symptom, and it felt like the spring in the ball lock was way too stiff. I replaced it with a conical Williams flipper return spring and it's worked flawlessly since.

The far left lamp under the sling is the "flasher" to signify a ball being released from the lock area.

Just curious, is the light that flashes the same one that has a sticker on the wires that says "Attention: 1816 Bulb"?

BTW, that flasher should be the upper bulb between the left flipper lane and the drain lane, not under the slingshot plastic...
