My Island Entrance Switch is flakey which means that
the game doesn't always start a mode when it should.
Ball is not diverted to the left flipper return wireform
but instead heads straight down to the right flipper return.
Switch works intermittently during switch test.

I am placing an order with Marco and want to add this
switch to the order. Can someone point out the right
switch from Marco to order to replace the bad one ?
It is a blade switch, but is it a sub-miniature or a micro ??
Thanks

On Marco's site they are called micro. Get the switch out of there and check it with a meter, if it's working, you could have a poor connection, loose wire, etc. at another switch on the same row or column causing this. Check the adjustment of the switch too.

I have checked the switch with a meter.
It does not register consistently , using the meter, when I actuate
the switch with my finger (with game power off).
It looks like too much heat was used when the switch
was soldered in during assembly.
Pretty sure that the switch is damaged internally & needs
to be replaced. Just need to figure out which one to order.

Just buy the switch itself without the actuator. Cheaper and more universal. I just got a bunch of them from Pinball Life:
