Anyone had this yet? It knocks out the sling, kickout, etc. I think the typical WPC problem is a shorted solenoid or sometimes bridges. Am I blind or does the manual not map the fuses to solenoids like the Williams manuals? Bummer! Well, easy enough to figure out. |

Well - I finally got around to fixing this. The right sling was shorting on and then blowing F11. Unfortunately it wasn't the solenoid, it was the transistor. It's a P20N10 which are hard to get but there is an improved alternative IRL540. Great Plains Electronics carries them. I pulled the power board and (gulp) soldered in the new transistor. It's working fine now. The Capcom power board seemed a little tighter to solder on than the WPC stuff but it went ok. |
