Some of you may not be aware of the fact that I'm working a deal to sell my rights to my BBB. This is not something I'm doing lightly. A "minor" financial situation at home has made it necessary.
The gentleman is a collector from Australia and is concerned about the shipping costs. He talked to Kim about it but she couldn't give him an estimate yet.
Does anyone have a rough idea of the shipping cost and if there are others going to Australia, could you let me know here and I'll pass that info on to the buyer. I know a group shipping plan has been discussed for the European buyers. Has something like this been considered yet for the Aussies?
Thanks for your input. _________________ Bryan Kelly Former BBB #123 |

My guess is you can sell your BBB anywhere. I'd be interested too. Wayne can probably tell you all about shipping to Australia as I think he is shipping the other games there as well. |

Hi Bryan, I am sorry you are in a position where you need to consider this option. I know you have been just as excited as the rest of us about this project and have been anticipating delivery of the completed machines. I am sure this could not be an easy decision for you, I hope that whatever you decide to do works out for you and goes smoothly.
I believe that there are 5 machines going to Austrailia. Not sure if there would be any chance to piggy-back those 5 + yours as one shipment. It would probably need to be something that all parties could agree to.
Hope everything works out.

Bryan,
Your upbeat spirit and optimism will be greatly missed. I really wish you were gonna be here at the end of the project. I was looking forward to the day you got your BBB.
Good luck!

I'm actually not going anywhere, Kim. You and Robert have been kind enough to allow me to remain a forum member and I will continue to check for updates.......depressing as it may be for me as you near completion.
I'll be here till the end, no matter how long it takes. The pingasms just won't be the same.
Best of luck to you and all the BBB team members. Now go kick some ass!! _________________ Bryan Kelly Former BBB #123 |

Thanks for the invite, Mike but there are actually 4 other BBB's coming to the Twin Cities area and I have become friends with all of the guys that have ordered them. If I play my cards right, they may invite me over to play.
Of course, I've always got Lloyd's original to play. _________________ Bryan Kelly Former BBB #123 |

give Wayne a try his bringing mine in with his and l think 2-3 others
so around 5
l had quotes of around $950 - $1200 US to bring in a single game via Air
which has killed off my plans ( those prices did include packing and delivery to airport)
and l am sorry that you wont be receiving/getting yours
but look at the bright side if this project ends up driving Kim
insane she may end up selling hers ( l've heard she talks to hers...
if you know what l mean) _________________ Greg

The same here. The US dollar was getting cheaper all the time compared to the Euro, so I waited, and then the rate went up again but I still waited... and waited too long.
If I would have paid BBB when the dollar was at the cheapest rate, it would've cost me about 200 Euro's less than what I paid now. |
