I saved BBB #61 from a great guy. But a horrible smoker that smoked in his game room. Lucky the BBB was not near his others and was really in good shape except for a little smell. She cleaned up nice. Now just trying to get smoke smell out of body. So BBB #61 saved in Non-smoking home.

Glad to see this private forum to discuss BBB.

Welcome!
Recently, some BBBs changed owner.
I'm glad that this forum still exists. A lot of background information is available here.
Although it's rather quiet here, I am checking at least weekly.
Regarding smell, try those car hangers. |

A few years ago I got a Pinball Magic (only coincidentally this involved another Capcom). This had that smell. What I did was a thorough clean out with the vacuum, then a large open top tub with about 500 grams of baking soda. Left that tub in the machine for a few months - just left it as there was no reason to remove it, figured I would the next time I worked on the machine. I suspect it was six months later, but when I opened it up it had no smell at all. _________________ Vegemite Nick #123 |
