GPIO Assembly This
board interfaces the computer to all external switches, lighting, touchscreen
and bill validator. If your touchscreen has failed and your touchscreen
controller is still responding (see the green light on the controller - it gets
slightly brighter when you touch the touchscreen) GPIO has most likely failed.
My GPIO board failed after three years so it was nice to find a replacement.
This is a complete assembly as shown below - board, case and interlock switch.
