Hey Everyone,

I don't know if anyone is planning to go to Allentown next week for the Pinball Wizard's convention, but I will be there. Gene will be there as well and I will be travelling with James Loflin from Pinball Inc. and helping him in his booth selling ramps.

Hopefully I'll run into a few of you there!

Have not installed it yet but I can tell you it is thicker, perfectly clear and was only $99.

It does not have a flap installed.

I'll post a pic soon.

I'd better clarify - James made a limited run of these. They do not have hardware on them. We are not sure how to deal with the EL arrows. Gene will have a bunch of these in his posession soon, but we delivered just a few to him at Allentown. Gene did not want us to sell them at Allentown, but a couple got out. And they have been completely re-engineered from the ground up to fit our games. They will fit better than any ramp has ever fit on BBB and last the life of the machine. I am unsure as to what the sales situation is right now. James has a lot of money invested in this. He has not made enough for every machine. Even I don't have one yet and I have a cracked ramp on my game. I'll inquire and let the group know what the sales situation is.

Well, obviously I will be wanting to order one of these, and I expect most everyone else (who owns a BBB) will as well. How many did he make, and how can I make sure I'm on whatever list is applicable? Don't like that part about "not enough for every game" :/

I also need a flipper coil stop, as the round portion separated from the bracket on my LR flipper. Kim was checking for me, but it's been a while. Meanwhile, my BBB is unplayable. I'd love to be able to order spare parts for this...

Al,

Thanks for looking into these for us. Yes... I would like one as I expect most will.

Al,

Do you have any update for the pre-ordered, pre-paid ramp buyers?

Does it look like we will have delivery of the ramps any time soon?

Do you know if they will include any hardware ?

If not, will the flap or arrows become available?

OK, at the risk of seeming negative or being the bad guy......

Much in the same vein as we all took that leap of faith and put up our money for a BBB and waited patiently in hopes that we would get one..which we all did; some of us also plunked down our money in the same hope that we would get the spare parts, including ramps for our machines.

It is just a little disconcerting that some us who have paid for the ramp a long time ago and have been patiently waiting now see the ramp was sold at Allentown and yet we are still waiting to get ours.

I guess that is probably why Gene did not want them sold ahead of his "waiting list?"

While we are on the topic of parts, is there any info on the wish/want/need list of spare parts that was posed in another post almost one year ago?

As always, any info is appreciated.

Thanks for keeping us in the loop.

With my new BBB ramp in hand I went over and had a nice conversation with Gene. He told me that many spare parts will be available in a couple of months and that all registered BBB owners will get a letter announcing availability.

The truth is, the ramps are not ready for prime time yet. There is no hardware on them and the situation with the arrows is a huge concern. It's just a matter of time for these things to be worked out. I'm sure Gene will fulfill the remaining orders when the details get worked out.

I would like one of the ramps as well when done, how do we pre-order?
