You may have known that the Bony Beast was supposed to glow in the dark - the Beast head and the Beast ribs.  But did you know that at one time they were clear and even green? 

Here are some of the Beast heads that were made for evaluation purposes.  The one on the bottom right is the production ivory plastic that has been color washed.
