I've tested a number of different LEDs to find the best replacement for the
originals on the crate PCB in Scared Stiff. The best match of the ones I
tested is Mouser Electronics part number 351-3230; T-1 water-clear red
super-bright LEDs. They are identical in size to the originals, and are a
very close match in terms of appearance and light output. They're priced at
twenty-five cents each in lots of ten.

(The replacements are just a tiny bit brighter than the originals when viewed
head-on, but when viewed from playing position they match exactly.)
